1. Public Meeting for a rezoning proposal for an approximately 12.44 acre property (in Pima County) located at 9062 East Eagle Feather Road and 9125 East Catalina Highway. The property is made up of two parcels located north of Tanque Verde Road on the east side of Catalina Highway and is currently zoned SR (Suburban Ranch) and CR-1 (Single Residence). The owners are also in the process of annexing the properties into the City of Tucson and are requesting to rezone to R-2 for the development of approximately 133 homes consisting of one, two and three bedrooms. 2. New Proposed Rezoning and Development at Tanque Verde Road and Houghton Road. Projects International, Inc. intends to file with the City of Tucson to rezone approximately 11.6 acres of land at the the northeast corner of Tanque Verde and Houghton Roads. The request will be for R-2 zoning under the City's Flexible Lot Development provisions. The new development would be a subdivision of 86 two-story single family attached homes, with a net density of approximately 7.5 units per acre. 3. Areawide Water Quality Management Plan (Section 208) – Opportunity to Comment!
Pima Association of Governments (PAG) is updating this Plan and will hold a Public Hearing at noon on Jan. 30, 2020, at the PAG Regional Council meeting. The 208 Plan addresses water pollution sources, such as solid waste, stormwater and domestic wastewater, by inventorying sources of pollution, water quality conditions, management efforts and goals. These processes apply primarily to wastewater reclamation facilities. The 208 Plan describes historical and emerging point and nonpoint source water quality issues, considers alternative solutions, and recommends control measures based on local program efforts. 

The 208 Plan documents will be available for review and comment at www.PAGregion.com/208plan and at PAG, 1 E. Broadway Blvd., Suite 401, Tucson, AZ 85701 starting Dec. 30. Comments will be accepted through the public hearing on Jan. 30, 2020.
