The TVVA 2016 Fall General Meeting on October 4 at the Kirk Bear Canyon Library was a success! Over 40 neighbors and friends attended, and we had the two candidates for Pima County District 4 Supervisor position, Steve Christy and Josh Reilly, speak and answer questions from the audience. We honored Supervisor Ray Carroll for his 22 years of service to our District and the Tanque Verde Valley with a short presentation by our TVVA President Peter Reinthal, and we presented him with a beautiful engraved glass teardrop award. Discussion topics included the proposed rezoning on Tanque Verde Road for an RV and boat storage facility.

The TVVA 2014 Fall General Meeting was held on Wednesday October 29, 7:00 to 9:00 pm, at the Tanque Verde Lutheran Church, 8625 E. Tanque Verde Road. Peter Reinthal, Board President, welcomed the attendees, and introduced the board members. Peter also explained the program, noting that we had invited both Ron Barber and Martha McSally, but were unable to coordinate a date when both of them could attend. At that meeting we had Ann-Eve Pedersen, who sits on Congressman Barber's Finance and Steering Committee for his campaign, speak for about 15 minutes. Martha McSally, candidate for U.S. Representative for Congressional District 2, spoke next and answered questions from the audience. About 40 people were in attendance.
