Good afternoon friends,

We are excited to invite you to the first event of our fall programming at the Dr. Richard G. Snyder Wildlife Refuge & Field School. Please join us for “Birds and Bites: Exploring West Nile Virus Ecology in Tucson, AZ,” a talk by SNRE doctoral student Gracie Fischer.

West Nile virus is present in Tucson, but what do we know about where it occurs, how it moves through our local environment, and what that means for people and wildlife? Gracie will share her research on West Nile virus and discuss how our community, wildlife, and environment are connected through the ecology of this disease.

Event: Saturday, October 10, 10:00–11:30 AM
Location: Dr. Richard G. Snyder Wildlife Refuge & Field School, 3720 N. Silver Drive, Tucson, AZ 85749

Space is limited, so please register in advance to help us plan for attendance and parking: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/nkBLWwcVxA

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Warmly,

Wim & Devi
