UPDATE: Sandbag stations available in
Pima County Oct. 10

Note: This story has been updated with the correct time and five additional locations.

PIMA COUNTY, Oct. 9, 2025 — Starting Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, sandbag stations will be set up for all Pima County residents due to possible heavy rainfall and flooding, predicted by the National Weather Service for Arizona and southeast California. All stations will be open by 6 a.m. Friday. 

Sandbags will be available at these locations:

County residents are invited to fill up no more than 20 sandbags per vehicle. For safety and convenience, it is recommended that residents bring a shovel and gloves to assemble the sandbags.

Residents can also sign up to receive emergency alerts at MyAlerts.pima.gov.

When there are issues that affect the Tanque Verde Valley and Tucson's Eastside, our volunteers collaborate with our neighbors to help organize the community. By collaborating, we can help resolve problems and find solutions.
