City of Tucson Plan Tucson Workshops
Plan Tucson is the City of Tucson’s General Plan, a long-range plan that will reflect our community’s shared goals and diverse aspirations for the next 20 years. This long-range policy document is central to defining the future of Tucson, addressing vital areas such as housing, transportation, climate action, and growth. The First Draft of the updated General Plan is now public. This is a preliminary draft, intended to bring together all of the major components required for a General Plan and the feedback received during the previous two phases of our update process. The City is holding a series of Working Sessions to focus on each chapter of the updated preliminary draft. These sessions will be a conversation and dialogue on the content and what revisions should be incorporated into the next draft. Nothing within this first draft is set in stone, but hopefully it will provide a framework to guide conversation for revisions before it is presented to the Planning Commission.
